"The participation in this year's Easter Basket Fundraising was nothing short of spectacular! This program is truly the embodiment of ideals that Discovery Toys & our Team Members value so dearly. The thousands of recipients of these baskets are children who unfortunately do not enjoy many of the taken for granted joys that come with living in an advanced society. Knowing that someone cares enough to remember them this Easter when they might expect nothing will give them hope & impact them in a positive way. Team Members truly are making a difference in the lives of these children. For that we say congratulations, thank you and God Bless our DT family!"- Jerry R. Salerno, CEO

“Discovery Toys has impacted my family in many positive ways since I joined. I am able to stay at home with our son & raise him with the best of the best in educational products. DT doesn’t only provide an income for my family, but it represents a greater mission that I am humbled to share with others: the Power of PLAY- uncensored, unplugged, old-fashioned Play! We are learning, but most of all we are having fun doing it! One Team, One Dream.”
“I chose to become an Educational Consultant because Discovery Toys offers the most outstanding developmental products for families – products of the highest quality with extraordinary value. For me, Discovery Toys provides a career that allows me to build my work schedule around my family while earning an income that supports my lifestyle.”
“Discovery Toys has been a part of my professional life for at least 25 years. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, I use these educational toys in my pediatric therapy clinic. I chose to join DT so that I could share these toys with more families who are trying to help their children achieve developmental milestones. Everyone deserves the privilege of having Discovery Toys in their home to encourage their family to learn together through play. It has been one of the best decisions that I have made for my family.”
Creativity among our children is on the decline. Discover what we can do to reverse the trend in Jim Garber's latest blog | Through artistic play a child also discovers the freedom and power to create, to transform materials into something completely different, to make the imagined REAL. The artistic process develops a child’s ability to think both creatively and critically...Read More
Discovery Toys' 'Toy Guy', Jim Garber, reflects on his personal experience on the pressure to excel for kids today | My son Evan, a 7th grader, is currently enrolled in a combined 7th/8th grade Math class. At the school’s recent Back to School Night, his math teacher welcomed us parents and advised that she was not going to talk about the course curriculum or her grading policy. She instead spent her 10 minutes of allotted time expressing her concern with the emotional state of her students.
